Are wood watches waterproof?
A question we get quite often, so let’s dive into it!
Our wood watches are considered to be splash proof. This means that normal wear and use, such as washing your hands, walking through rain, going to the gym or the beach, aren’t any problem at all. However, we do not recommend activities like swimming, deep diving, or any other activity where your wood watch will be fully submerged in water. This could harm the movement of the watch, as well as the wood itself. If your wood watch has been exposed to excessive moisture, the flexibility of the bands wood links might be diminished. If this occurs, let the watch dry for 1 or 2 days so that the wood can return to its original size.
